Michaela Moryskova's luxury accessory line, SKOVA, is not merely a label, it's a brand with a mission. When you buy SKOVA products, you are actually helping make a difference in the world. Michaela has a passion for humanitarian work, and it all started from her extensive traveling in the beginning of her modeling career. She spent two years in South Africa, where she witnessed many starving children, and many poverty stricken areas. Through this experience, Michaela was able to envision how much potential these hungry children had to grow up and have a chance to live normal healthy lives, with just a little help.
Well, Michaela's Mission is going to start firstly by supporting our own country and having all SKOVA products made in the USA. Secondly, it is Michaela's mission to help out the impoverished areas of places like Africa and Costa Rica. For every SKOVA product purchased, a percentage will go into food for these destitute areas. In Costa Rica we will be providing a bag of rice, beans and corn tortilla's. This combination is actually a full balanced diet where there are enough vitamins and nutrients to help a child grow up healthy.
As SKOVA grows, Michaela will be more active in helping and volunteering. These are the things she enjoys most, and feels very strongly of the concept of "Global fashion giving back to the world."
